Frequently Asked Questions: 2D porn games
What do we mean by ‘2D’ here?
Anything that is drawn rather than modelled: pixel art, animated sprites, hand-drawn illustrations.
Is it less sophisticated than 3D?
No, that’s a different point of view. Good pixel art ages better than outdated 3D graphics, and hand-drawn animation is often more expressive.
Does it run on a low-spec system?
Yes, that’s one of their strengths: these games require very few system resources and will run on just about any computer.
